Looking Forward to Salvation

Full Show Description

Our salvation now, is nearer than when we first believed. We will receive the fullness of that salvation when we see Christ.

For now, we are to “take heed unto thyself.” 1 Timothy 4:16 Each Believer is personally responsible to live by Jesus’ commands; to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.  If I continue to take heed, I shall receive salvation in the end.

When we became saved, we became worthy. We’re not just unhealthy filthy old rags. As long as we stay in Christ, we are securely tied to Him. We are His servants. We are hopeful for the salvation He promises.

We are in Christ, but can walk away if we let the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life tempt us away. The Scripture is clear that our hearts, motives and actions matter. If we choose to follow other gods, we are no longer “saved.” We will not receive salvation.

So, stay true to Christ, to be eternally secure in Him. Walk the narrow path close to Jesus!

Praise the Lord!
