Persevere to the End

Full Show Description

Let’s not fool ourselves. Just because we are saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost, doesn’t mean we’ll never encounter trouble. Doesn’t mean we can’t fall away. Just because we’re operating in the will of God, now, doesn’t mean the enemy won’t come at us, to tempt us away.

“Resist the enemy, and he will flee.” Scripture doesn’t say he will flee for good, but he will leave you alone for a season. It’s good to know when trouble comes, when all hell breaks loose, that God’s got my back, as long as I stay close to Him.

But there are real believers and pretend believers. God knows who are His. We can be deceived, even about ourselves, but God can’t be deceived.

Some are saved now, and may fall away in the future. Others say they believe they are saved just because they say a sinner’s prayer, yet their sinful lifestyle never changes. They may be engaging in all the vices and sins they were before they were “saved.”

Jesus said, ‘He who hath my commandments and keepeth them, he it is who loves Me.”

Persevere to the end and you’ll receive salvation.

Praise the Lord!
