Waywardness in the Flesh

Full Show Description

The outer us is the flesh. The outer cover of the inward man. Old things have passed away, and all things have become new.

Sometimes we are focused on the outward cover of the inward man. We concentrate more on the flesh than we are on what the Lord has done within. We have become wayward.

1828 Webster’s – WAYWARD – froward, peevish, perverse, longing for one’s own way.

When we are not in God, we are wayward.

2 Chronicles 7:14 says, I heard the Lord say, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

If you are wayward, you are giving up what Jesus Christ did for you on the Cross. If you deny Christ, you’ll be lost forever. Because He will deny you. You can believe on Him, accept and become all He has for you. But if you deny Him, you are giving up life.
